Questions we get asked

Why use exothermic welding instead of clamps?

An exothermic joint is a molecular bond with the same current carrying capacity as the conductor, and it does not loosen or corrode at the interface the way a bolted clamp can. It is the standard for buried and inaccessible joints.

What does a lightning strike counter do?

It records how many times the protection system has taken a strike, which tells the maintenance team when to inspect. Ours is built to IS/IEC 62305 and IEC 62561-6 with a six digit display.
